- To provide life long residential facility to persons with mild & moderate Intellectual Disability.
- To offer a decent life style to the inmates with hygienic living conditions, proper nourishment and loving care.
- To train and educate the inmates {in self-management, time, money concept, social skills and vocational skills} so as to enable them to live a fulfilling life.
- To channelise their energies by engaging them in some constructive pursuits like crafts, games, cultural activities that would give them the necessary physical activity which is so essential for their health.
- To build a sense of discipline in them by providing a healthy routine with time for food, work, recreation and rest.
SBRC-AN AMBITIOUS PROJECT
Bibi Satwant Kaur of village Sular, Patiala, displayed her generosity and deep concern for the cause and donated one acre of land for the project. The complex of SBRC was completed & furnished costing Rs. 85 Lakhs. With a view to creating more accommodations, a six storey ‘Sunny Tower’ has been added with the generous donation from Sardar S.P.S. Oberoi.
